Show of hands: Who’s excited about the upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday? πŸ€Ÿβœ‹Who’s stressed out and can’t sleep at night because you’re this year’s party host? πŸ™Œ Well… If you raised your hand at least once – keep reading! Maybe some of our thanksgiving tips will help you relax and enjoy this special time! And if all fails – remember, this holiday is about spending time with your loved ones, not about stressing out and making everything perfect!Β  πŸ₯°πŸ€—πŸ§‘πŸ˜‰

Let’s Begin!

Start planning now.

Trying to get everything ready for this holiday while managing regular daily activities can be more than exhausting. Let’s make sure that it doesn’t happen and plan ahead. Start with creating a timeline and due dates for yourself for each chore that needs to be completed in order for you to prepare the perfect Thanksgiving party. If you don’t know where to begin, this to-do list might come in as an inspiration!

Stay Calm

Take it step by step…πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Now that you have it all planned out and you know clearly what needs to be done (and when!πŸ˜‰) Remeber – you’re not alone. Ask your family and friends to help you out if they can, and delegate! You can even give small decoration DIY projects to your kids and make them a part of a party planning committee!

Send those out soon!

Of course, there will not be a Thanksgiving party without guests! It is important to invite everyone in advance, to make sure that they can all come to your party. If you wait too long, your guests might not be able to make it due to short notice! You can never assume that your family will knock on your door uninvited right? πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ˜… If you don’t feel like creating special invitations, we suggest sending out an email invite rather than a phone call. With phone calls, you can never be sure how many people you invited and who exactly is coming. Let technology do the work for you!😎 If you are looking for some invitation ideas, here you go!

The Food

Make it a Delicious Day!

You’ve got your guest list done, and decorations are in making… forgetting something?! Food! It’s the highlight of the party. If you haven’t yet, make sure to order your turkey well in advance and get on that grocery list for your established menu! There are a lot of dishes that you can easily make in advance, so once you have a set menu, figure out which dish can be done sooner and start making your grocery trips today! Well, maybe tomorrow… you can take today off πŸ˜‰πŸ˜Š If you’re not sure of any possible allergies among your friends and family, you should probably confirm the menu with your guests or ask for them to let you know when they fill out their RSVP’s. If you’re looking for that last dish idea… look no further!

The Night Before…

The last preparations are done… RELAX!

You did it! It wasn’t so bad once you broke it down to steps right? Now, it’s the night before and you are probably going over everything twice in your head. Stop! Everything will be perfect. If it will help you sleep better, you can set up your dining table tonight and cross it off from your long to-do list tomorrow! After that, spend the evening with your family, and don’t worry about the party. You’ve done your best!πŸŽ‰πŸ₯³πŸ™ŒπŸ₯° Here are some ideas for your Thanksgiving Dinner Table Setting.Β  Shhh… don’t mention it πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Are you not into parties?

If you’re completely not feeling like hosting any parties, or you don’t even want to attend one … you don’t have to. Don’t feel the holiday pressure of doing something special. If special to you means ordering in and spending the day on the couch with your family – that’s what Thanksgiving is about. Make it special for you and your close ones. And hey, I’m sure one lucky turkey will be very grateful!Β  πŸ¦ƒπŸ₯°πŸ˜‰
