Learn more about Charlestown Meadows
Located in Chester County’s Malvern Borough, a community of just over 3,000 residents who cherish a laid-back quality of life, Charleston Meadows is one of its finest neighborhoods. Tasteful, stone accented facades and beautiful landscaping give the community’s exclusive collection of 186 Toll Brothers-built townhomes a distinctly upscale feel. Tree-lined streets and sidewalks wind through the community and a greenway trail encircles the enclave of homes, much to the delight of walkers, joggers, and evening strollers.
Generously planted trees make for an exquisite display of color in spring as the trees blossom and again in the fall when the trees take on vibrant shades of orange, gold, and red. The fitness center, sauna, locker rooms, swimming pool, tennis courts, and playground are popular features of the healthful, relaxing lifestyle that Charlestown Meadows offers its residents.
Malvern was originally settled by Welsh immigrants who bought the land from William Penn in the 17th century and several sites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, this borough has thoroughly modernized to boast an impressive mix of retail and business centers (Siemens Healthcare, Ricoh Americas Corporation, and Vanguard Group, to name just a few), civic and cultural organizations, all balanced by a generous amount of dedicated green space.
The area is home to three lovely parks — the Samuel & M. Elizabeth Burke Park, the Theodore S.A. Rubino Memorial Park and the Horace J. Quann Memorial Park. Adding to the not-to-be-missed local attractions are the Swiss Pines arboretum and Japanese garden.
Nearby Lionville has fabulous dining options along Pottstown Pike and international food markets at Marchwood Shopping Center. The town of Exton is undergoing exciting new expansion that includes Exton Park, a 700-acre site that when completed, will include trails, picnic areas, multi-use fields, and dog-friendly spaces.
The Great Valley school district and three private schools serve the area, which is also home to two institutions of higher education: Penn State Great Valley School of Graduate Professional Studies and Immaculata University.
Charlestown Meadows enjoys easy access to US 30, Route 202, and proximity to I-76 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Should work or leisure-time pursuits take you out of town, the nearby Amtrak/Septa station allows effortless transit to Philadelphia, New York, and Baltimore/Washington.
Yet, for those times when you don’t have to be on the go, views of the scenic Chester County countryside might just make you wish to sit back and take in a picture-perfect sunset from the comfort of your backyard deck in Charlestown Meadows.
